Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Marketing Decoded handles data in its content scheduling service at postiz.marketingdecoded.cloud (the "Service").
1. Data we collect
- Service account data: name, email address and password (stored hashed) of authorised team members.
- Connected platform data: when you connect a social media account we receive, with your permission, basic profile information (account ID, display name, username, avatar) and access tokens issued by the platform.
- Content: videos, images, captions and scheduling settings you upload to create posts.
2. TikTok data
When you connect TikTok, the Service requests these permissions:
- user.info.basic and user.info.profile: to show which TikTok account is connected (name, username, avatar).
- video.upload and video.publish: to send the videos you schedule to your TikTok account at the time you choose, with the privacy and interaction settings you select.
We do not read your followers, messages, or other users' data, and we do not use TikTok data for advertising or profiling.
3. YouTube and Google data
When you connect YouTube, the Service uses YouTube API Services to upload and schedule videos on your channel. Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. 4. How we use data
Data is used only to operate the Service: displaying connected accounts, storing scheduled posts and publishing them to the platforms you selected.
5. Sharing
We do not sell or rent data. Content and data are sent only to the platform you publish to (for example TikTok or YouTube) as part of publishing your post.
6. Storage and security
The Service runs on our own server. Data is transmitted over HTTPS, and access to the server is restricted.
7. Retention and deletion
- When you disconnect a channel in the Service, its access tokens are removed.
- You can also revoke access at any time in the platform's own settings (for TikTok: Settings and privacy, Security and permissions, Apps and services).
- Uploaded media and posts are kept until you delete them, or until you ask us to delete your data.
8. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting us. We respond within 30 days.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
